Thanks so much man. I pulley swapped my Murray and always had problems starting it. I pretty much replaced everything, solenoid, battery, you name it, and decided to think of this. I’ll try it out, thanks again for the video.

Its way to late but I would say Remove the body thats on it and build a custom body for it that is similar to the ones used on mobility scooter cars. specially the lady bug looking one.

I'm about to try that cord idea. My aftermarket starter chewed he teeth off my ring gear, so I bought a pulley and a lawn mower cord. It's a cheaper fix than replacing the flywheel and starter. Thanks for the cool idea!

Life saver. I was thinkin about this this morning as my Chrapsman LT1000 riding mower 17.5HP Brigg has he infamous broken decompression lever (internally). Started lawn mowers as a kid this way. I'm on my dirt bike when I'm 3-4 miles out in the woods.
